Pleasure Salon is a social mixer for the sex-positive and alternative sexuality communities in New York City that typically occurs once a month at a downtown bar and lounge. Their next outing is taking place at Gunnison Beach in Sandy Hook, a clothing-optional beach on the not-too-far-away Jersey Shore and, naturally, you’re invited! You’re sure to see some familiar faces (and more than likely bodies), so make sure to RSVP and plan your trip out there!

What better way could there be to meet members of the BDSM, swinger, LGBT, sex-activist, nudist, sex-magic, polyamory, radical faerie, tantra, dark odyssey, sex-blogger, and sex-worker communities, and others whose passion is sex? It’s summer. It’s time to escape New York City for some fun in the sun. Amazing things happen each time we cross-pollinate!

Sandy Hook – Gunnison Beach (Clothing Optional)

If traveling by car: Parking Lot G ($10 per car) It fills up fast, so get there early, or you may have a very long walk. Walk to the right of the snack stand. We will have a large “Pleasure Salon” sign.

If interested in carpooling, please indicate in your reply by clicking the car pool option, especially if you can give someone a ride.

If traveling via Public Transportation: East Side Seastreak Ferry at Pier 11 (Wall Street) or at East 34th St in Midtown. Travel time is 35 minutes.
Roundtrip Fare $43 (cash only) ferries leave 34th Street at 8:00am and 10:30am. Returns to Manhattan at 3:45 and 5:45.

Keep in mind – you can only purchase roundtrip tickets for the ferry!

We will bring two large coolers of ice for drinks (alcohol is allowed; all food and drink must be in plastic containers or cans — no glass). There is a snack stand, if you get hungry, or you can bring snacks to share. You should bring at least one bottle of water for yourself.
