As Leather Pride gets into full swing this June, LSM will be having a very special demo on Flogging, presented by one of their own co-founders Jo Arnone. LSM is pleased to present special guest Jo Arnone, co-founder of the Lesbian Sex Mafia, to take us through the painful pleasures of flogging. From the soft caress of deerskin, the sharp sting of a braided cat or the heavy thud of flat tails, a flogging can be sensual, erotic or simply a painful experience. Learn the proper techniques, safety, equipment and the fun of it all. Bring your whips, if you have any. There will be a few available to try as well.

Location: Room 410 at the LGBT Center in Manhattan, 208 West 13th Street. Admission is only $5 for LSM Members, $10 for non-members — and you’ll want to get there early as we expect the room to fill fast.

Jo Arnone has been a member of the NY Leather Community since it’s earliest years and has been teaching flogging to willing audiences for even longer. She is a Co-Founder of LSM and has been the Leather Pride Night Auctioneer for nearly 25 years. During that time she has donated her auctioneering talents to over 150 events all across the United States helping to raise over one million dollars for worthy charities including In the Life, Whitman Walker Clinic, God’s Love We Deliver, Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS, and Bucks County Community Services.

Lesbian Sex Mafia is a social and educational organization for women and transfolk (see membership description below) who have a positive personal interest in BDSM with other women. Our tenets are safety, consensuality, confidentiality and the right of women to explore their sexuality as they choose.
